Going Green With Diet And Nutrition

With global warming and increase in pollution, people are finally realizing the importance of greenery. It is about time we considered going green with our diet and nutrition as well. Green is a color that is used to describe everything that is fresh and new. As far as the world of dieting is concerned, green relates to those items of food that present no danger to the human body or the environment.

Not only can we feel better by going green but we can also feel better fast. There are certain techniques that can help us live a healthy life and also assist in losing weight without disturbing our budget. We should only look to buy locally grown foods and should make fresh fruits and vegetables a regular part of our diet. Following this green diet requires strong will and persistence.

If you can keep this up even for a year you will feel a significant change in your body. Most people however are unable to keep up with this dieting routine of only eating fresh and healthy food items as temptation can get the better of them. So if you think you are one of such people then the least you can do is add two fruits a day to your diet along with whole grains or a half cup of beans.

Before beginning any diet or exercise plan you must always consult your doctor and should drink plenty of water as it is absolutely essential for the proper functioning of our body.
