Sea food is full of nutritious elements and is a great alternative to beef, pork, or chicken. Salmon is one of the greatest sources of nutrition. It contains following nutritious elements.

Due to its nutrition, salmon is considered as the best food to avoid different kind of cancers and heart attacks. In today’s society, women are facing many severe bone problems. Omega 3 in salmon makes the bones strong and decreases the chances of fracture. Omega 3 is also very beneficial for the brain as it helps develop and sustain memory. Selenium, Vitamin A and D provide a shield to the nervous system and helps to decrease the effects of aging. Omega 3 in salmon is also useful for the eyes as it decreases the risk of high pressure in the eyes called glaucoma. By eating an appropriate quantity of salmon, a person can have healthier skin.

Salmon is also very beneficial for children due to brain development. It is observed that children who regularly eat sea food perform better than other students. Salmon is also proving very helpful for people with heart diseases because omega 3 decreases the possibility of heart stroke and hypertension. Many doctors also recommend their patients have at least two fish meals per week for better health.
